Justice starts with children
Join us in creating justice systems that respect, project, and empower every child. Our mission is to ensure that children's rights are upheld and their voices heard throughout Europe.
What is child-friendly justice ?
Child-friendly justice means making sure that any child who comes into contact with the law - whether as a victim of a crime, a witness, involved in a family dispute like custody, or going through migration procedures - is treated with dignity, listened to, and protected from harm. It can be scary and confusing for children to speak to police, lawyers, or judges, so systemms should adapt to their needs: using language they understand, providing safe spaces to tell their story only once, and making sure decisions are taken quickly.
